Republican House Speaker won't even allow a vote on healthcare subsidies

Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House, will not even allow a vote on extensions to the Affordable Care Act subsidies as part of a Republican healthcare bill. This despite several Republicans wanting a vote on the amendment that would allow the ObamaCare subsidies to be extended. This shows that the Republicans do not want affordable heatlhcare, but also how dysfunctional our political system has become when one person can block such an important vote. Further, it shows that the Senate Democrats that voted to end the shutdown made a mistake, as holding a vote in the House was not part of the deal they made.
